Too much garbage everywhere in NCR

Is a circle for waste management being thought off or may be this circle can be expanded to include it?? more

Mr. Bhatia, I am sure you would know the process involved to introduce private ventures in Govt Operated institutions. Here in India moving one file from one room to another will take at least 3 days. I appreciate your inputs and contributions. We want people to keep sharing ideas and work on ground. Sumit more
I think here in US we have found a solution. 1. Entrepreneurship. If you privatise these intractable services, make them work themselves, and be you own boss, the streets will be cleaner. 2. Competition. Ensure their contracts are up for renewal yearly. Believe me, the trash will be picked up at 9 am in the morning. Possibly, they will buy each other out and expand, development by development, or locality by locality. But, our Home Owners association throws them out for non-competence the next year. more
Dear All, Just by writing or dialing few numbers will not really help either of us. to handle such cases with more seriousness, we all need to do some brainstorming on how we can collectively work and help each other as a group. I am sure, these posts will not be read or seen my any individual whose job is to ensure that such things are not done (he is a typical babu sitting in office and sipping tea back to back). Let us all decide and schedule a meeting and try to have some proactive approach by involving media and police. The purpose of joining this group is to bring some change, Our purpose is common therefore a platform has to be common. you can inbox me on (sumitsbj@gmail.com) and lets plan to meet somewhere in Sector 18 for a cup of coffee and try to bring like minded people on any weekend. There are brilliant ideas with each one of you, lets shape them collectively and make a stronger group and approach these public servants with more maturity, sincerity, and professionally. I think we should discuss waste/garbage sense as part of this circle. Is there anyone in Delhi who believes in waste management though? more
Very pertinent circle. We travelled to China v recently. No garbage in sight; no stray dog in sight; not a beggar in sight; women are walking alone safely even at 11 PM alone; bikes are left outside unlocked . But, mainly the garbage collection crew is cleaning cleaning side-walks, inside lanes; no goofing off by the Muncipal Committee cleaners. We should emulate them. We Delhites tolerate too much garbage on the by-lanes and side-walks. more
