Roof rights of top floor owner vs all residents in the building

Roof belongs to all residents of the building

I am attaching a picture of the article that explains how builders are creating confusion for roof rights
I am living on 1st floor since 1982 and common areas like roof of the building is denied by barsati floor owner
I am sure that in Delhi there are plenty of people like me who can't fight a legal battle with mighty people posing as builders and they are squatters on government land in NOIDA and NCR more

Thank you so much. Selfish reasons apart, such as wanting more space, now those from the lower floors may be able to, if so willing and having the resources, install solar panels on their portion of the rooftop, for electricity augmentation and charges mitigation, that would therefore be revenue generating. Sharing always optimises resources. How technology improvement in renewable energy, photovolataic cells becoming now more affordable, about a fourth they were 8 years back, changes the scenario. more

Good you have brought this to the notice to the L.C. members. Besides the plinth area of the flat, many flat owners don't show interest in the undivided common area and its values. Once the car park rights are given, the lower floor members are satisfied. They don't understand how valuable is the Terrace area. For sun drying cloths, for spending the evening spare hours together with family ; one most important use that many health enthusiasts utilized for was for stretching and walking DURING THE WHOLE PANDEMIC PERIOD AND CONTINUE TO DO THE SAME. more  
People do Not Honor Court Orders. There was eviction order for tenant living on top floor barsati Women made a human chain in presence of police personnel and did not allow them to enter barsati floor. Police personnel climbed and started throwing items from top floor to road,shaming collective women power and got the place vacated. It was a lesson for others as tenants in the lane who gave back premises to the landlords,while court case was going on since ages... Year-1998 Delhi Deserves Bulldozer Baba. more
