Need of the Hour is to improve Infrastructure for Cleaner Delhi
Recently Transport Minister used TOI platform to unfurl the transformation of polluted Delhi. EV on cards in all variants of Transportation: 4 Wheelers, 2 Wheelers, 3 wheelers (Rickshaw). However just modifying the vehicles in Lithium Batteries with Charging Stations coming up - however if the roads are in such bad conditions especially in South Delhi - the stretch of road which earlier was BRT corridor is equally bad like the Siri Fort Road...uneven broken road and as you take a turn under the IIT - D flyover towards Mehrauli side, it gets even worse. I have personally written to the South Delhi Mayor as also AAP about a fortnight back. The Mehrauli turning has one more problem right on corner of turn is a Indian Oil Petrol Pump and adjacent is Essex Farms which hosts events and doubles up as marriage venue and when an event is underway, late evening too there is a pile up of big swanky cars which cause traffic jams. This Hotel/Farms which has Cafe Tesu...has invested and made 50 metre roads in good tarred road. However further ahead for next 600 metres is nightmare especially for two wheelers who could slip and get run over by the traffic coming behind. However do the Corporation or Party in power care for human lives?
more Within just 10 days of the posting on 15th February, I saw the Mehrauli stretch of road from IIT Flyover undergoing patch-work repairs making it motorable...lot better than its previous state. I then tried the Chirag Dilli - BRTS corridor, that too was freshly repaired (patchwork) and also the other arterial road Malaviya Nagar- Sir Fort which too had undergone fresh repairs. KUDOS to AAP for immediate Action. Finally a party which not just hears but acts too.

Simple, firstly infrastructurally use and promote traditional natural materials through scale and scope, for example using bitumen and coal tar with used plastic reused in increased highway construction whose rate has doubled since this government has taken over, or jute use for packaging increased digital enable logistics may be dovetailed into packaging production, substituting plastics. Only imagination and intitiative required.

Frankly , I don't know how the situation shall improve , unless citizens themselves do everything to minimise environmental pollution like preferring to walk / cycle when possible, plant trees in the jungle of concrete where possible. Don't use plastics to the extent possible . Reuse ten times or more prior to discarding and PLEASE don't take Bread and milk in polythene bags . It is already packed; take it in a jute bag and tell the shopkeeper loudly NOT to provide polybags -so that some other customers are also influenced.

DEAR SIR.....I agree with you in Toto. Its not the case of South Delhi, whole of Delhi is in bad shape. Parking is a major issue. Amount of vehicles coming in Delhi from other States are enormous. Human life is no longer important in India. Safety and Security is another issue in India which has to be dealt on war footing basis.
