Mandir Nirmaan

Dear Members,

Today I would request your genuine opinion on one of the most debatable or questionable issue for our society.

Recently there is a small Mandir constructed near to my home and the Pujari plays the Bhajans of his own choice (Which might not be very soothing to hear) on loud speaker. The loud noise during early hours of the day and late evenings is defiantly a problem to many residents.

I am sure there are many believes and other factors which stops an individual to question on the construction of that Mandir , However the noise pollution is something which needs to be addressed.

I throw this question to like minded friends here. Do you think such practices should be raised with local authority ? Can anyone suggest me on which department should be held responsible for this? Does our country have strict norms in terms of guidelines to operate religious places like Mandir, Gurudwara, Mosque, etc.

With due respect to all religions, the question which comes to my mind is very simple. Which holy book has mentioned or scripted to set up of loud speakers outside and in the vicinity of such religious places?

Can we all form a strong group to raise our voice and try to control such practices which is perhaps good for coming generation?

Looking forward for your comments.

With due respect to all religions, I am totally against loud speakers being used in religious places. We should be considerate towards our fellow beings and not create disturbance in the environment, especially keeping in mind the elderly and children. more

Dear All, I welcome your suggestions and inputs. This truly reflects that somewhere we all suffer from such unfriendly activities which perhaps we always ignored. I remember my nephew could not study for his exam because of loud noise due to Jagran night in street (Which is common practice in many areas). When we reported that to police at 100 no then the voice was simmer down to some extend, but it was still loud. These issues have to be taken to higher levels using the social media as most of us are working or occupied with other commitments in life. I am also a part of "Transform India with Narendra Modi" and "AAP Professional circle" . I would throw this post on those groups as well and let us see if we can make some logical impact for the benefit for better future. Sumit more
