Against change seems to be the driving force for this protest. For government has now asked farmers to spell out objection. Perforce, there will be some education happening about the new farm laws. more
Resistance to change is very critical in India. Politics is preferred subject than welfare of citizens. more
AQI 592 in summer ?? What is EPCA doing ? Why can't we act like they did in Beijing ? more
We are Indian. We are capable to act only.. more
As per the WHO Pollution database Delhi's PM10 and PM2.5 pollution sources are: Traffic 41.5% Industry 3.5% Biomass Burning 18.3% Unspecified Human Origin 36.7% Central and local governments need to take the lead including strict regulations, fines and their implementation. No political party has mentioned pollution control as their top priority in the current elections! I have paid a good part of my earning as taxes for a long time and I feel so disgusted with all this that I want to stop paying my taxes as a start!! more
This issue require rigorous follow up and crating awareness to those who are responsible. No law or policing would help. NGos and environment enthousiast can do lots of work in ground level. more
