Failed Accountability - Pollution

it is pathetic that our communities, politicians and civic leadership including CPCB and SPCB prefers to blame each other rather than taking positive steps to correct it. I wonder how all such policy makers residing in Delhi which is experiencing from acute air quality, still not worrying about health of their family and children.
We talk about high end projects e.g Bullet train but have failed to take care of issues at ground level.
The need of the hour is to fix accountability for each failing. more

Arvind ji, Accountability fixing is just a government process / part of policy. Question is - actionables. We have a solution, but do not have any government endorsement. We can solve this issue of Air, Water & Soil pollution in the most natural way. Because our technology is in complete harmony with nature, it is by default the most sustainable too. if you would like to solve the problem, let's work out a plan of working together to make it happen. more
Madhukar ji, fixing accountability is not just a ritual or process. Each section heads or dept.heads must have a system n keep constant vigil on people working under their control. The exception reporting system is absolutely necessary. When army is alert then only we sleep , live happily, if it doesn't than what? So it is not simply citizens responsibility but all such discipline percolates from top. The bosses have to be Task master.
Just few years back China also had Delhi like Smog problem how they tackel it?

One thing is for sure that only by burocratic approach such issues cannot have solution.

As a citizen we can do our duty not to throw garbage here n there, no spitting or urinating on roads or can draw authorities attention but than you n me are not going to be on roads those who are paid for their jobs have to deliver the results.

Just by complecent working just to please the bosses , that attitude never works. The boss thinks everything is okay but he never lift the carpet underwhich lot of dirt is daily pushed, who has to clean it?

We are not interested in playing blame games like our politicians, we pay taxes n we need value for our money.

I can cite many examples here but than who is going to read ?

Pl. Read my suggestion on pollution management on this forum to use PLASMA TECHNOLOGY to treat any kind of waste.

But it is like selling mirror in blindmens town.

Plasma Technology is good for waste management.I would also like to say that CPCB and SPCB should take cognizance of such technology and atleast have it on pilot project basis and see the result. At the same time we as citizen also have responsibility towards keeping environment healthy for us and next generation. Contribution of each individual is equally important. more
I agree the comments of Kaushikk D. Vyas. Govt may utilise their Retired esperienced and qualified staff. Definitely picture of good environment quality can achieved with less expanditure. Nandusekar P.P. more
The most effective way of treating any waste which loses threat to pollution, air quality is PLASMA TECHNOLOGY. WHICH CAN handle any kind of city waste without segregation. Without further producing waste. I had given presentation on it to many cities corporations , out come is zero more
