Does the government making Delhi clean?
I'm a Mayur vihar 3 resident and here in Ghazipur, a huge dump yard(almost half a kilometre long) emitting poisonous smoke everyday like a volcano.
I submitted the complaint to the Whatsapp number of the pollution control and I got a helpless reply. They said "The fire/smoke caused by methane gas and it is not under control to seize the fire time to time because of insufficient staffing."
I wonder that AAP has 1000 of volunteers to make "odd even" effective. Why they are ignoring this kind of dangerous situations?

Few days back,I had a chance to have my professional field workings in MV-2 and 3.I was shocked to see the filth and garbage everywhere.It was a shame to see the Gazipur dump yard.I wonder,what initiatives honourable elected members have taken under th so called Swatch Bharat campaigns.It appears,these campaigns are for publicity and collecting cess.This is the state of affairs in Capital with no visible progress under the cleanliness drive, no wonder elsewhere in the country the things may be pathetic. more

Sandeep , I am reminded of the days when we got Hastsal landfill sealed. It was some active residents of the area and Vatavaran who exposed Hastsal to the national and international media , we also wrote articles and kept hoarding our friends in media not to let issue die till the desired results were achieved. Yes it was in 90s there was no internet and profusion & confusion of news. Media corruption was not there , atleast I never came across it both when media had to cover an issue and when i sent articles to be published. Times have changed and the simple methods we adopted to bring about a big change will not work now , but lets put our heads together and come up with a way to get this hillock of garbage converted to a green hillock . I am not young any more so lack the swiftness of action but I am with you . y more
