Do we Indians just like trash despite dustbins

Was going through India Gate today, lots of people, lots of trash in the gardens, despite dustbins. What does that indicate? more

Laudable indeed! Citizens of Delta-1 Greater Noida need to be commended on this excellent initiative. Worth emulating by many others. However, besides this we also need regular institutional structures to function. Let the beneficiaries provide monitoring and oversight, and intervene when necessary. more  
We Indians are experts in taking our own care & don't bother for civic amneties provided free of cost This mindset needs change more

Very True but we do not want to learn to live healthy. It's in our genes not to show good civic sense. We need to take it as movement. At Delta-1, Greater Noida we do shramdan to clean Palm park at least on quarterly basis. Thanks God now we can teach our children to use proper place for garbage disposal, use public toilets, public places e.g. parks, parking, road etc. I am glad that now schools are also taken it as an initiatives. As a parent we shall make sure not only we should start at our home firs,t but our children also follows this. more  
Heavy fine is the only way out to stop peopole littering. This is what keeps everyone in line in all countries more
