Corporate lesson :

Jack and Max were walking near a church for the Sunday prayer..

Jack wonders whether it would be all right to smoke while praying.

Max replies, “Why don’t you ask the Priest?”

So Jack goes up to the Priest and asks, “Father, may I smoke while I pray?”

The Priest replies, “No, my son, you may not! That’s utter disrespect to our religion.”

Jack goes back to his friend and tells him what the good Priest told him.

Max says, “I’m not surprised. You asked the wrong question. Let me try.”

And so Max goes up to the Priest and asks, “Father, may I pray while I smoke?”

To which the Priest eagerly replies, “By all means, my son. By all means. You can always pray whenever you want to.”

Moral of the story: The approval you want depends on the way you ask for it!! more

I don't know why this simple post on corporate lesson turned into a religious debate. Here, it is not the question of Hindu Dharma or any other religion, it is simply to emphasize the importance of how we ask our question. Please take it that way only and do not turn this into any religious debate on this platform. more
I am not a scholar of Hindu religion, but this is beauty of our religion where we say "Man changa to kathoti me Ganga"... There is story in Mahabharat, where Arjun was a deep follower of Lord Shiva and without his pooja no one in his family could take meal. One day in Jungle, Arjun couldn't find Shivlinga and due to this no one could eat food. Bhim could not control his hunger and he made Shivlinga of Coconut shell and told Arjun he got Shivlinga. And, Arjun went and finished his pooja. While eating Bheem told this to Yudhisthir. Yudhisthir later took Bheem to that Shivalinga and aske him to remove it from the ground. Bheem with his full force couldn't move Shivalinga that he made of Coconut shell. No other religion in this universe gives liberty and humanity as Sanatan dharma gives. more
But this is not applicable in Sanatan Dharm. In Sanatan Dharm there is Aachar and Bichar. The priest will immediately advise do not pray while smoking. more
