The electricity/light poles can carry email address,name and phone numbers of the officer in charge of that stretch of road including RTI reminders.Any concerned citizen should be able to send his/her observations by SMS or email stating the location by mentioning the pole identification number.Copy of complaint should be marked to the minister in charge of road department! more

Pranta Ji : Very good suggestion , This should be made Mandatory and the electricity department should also mention the last date when the bulb/cfl was changed. Anjana ji : I cross that patch on daily basis. I agree with you..Road adjacent to Apollo hospital and the next road (coming under the flyover and leading to Kalandi Kunj) is in same condition. I have seen some men at work but i did not see anyone inspecting the road quality and maintenance for that patch. What better/ more initiatives we can take as team. May be its time for us to file RTI on such cases and look for some collective solutions. I once again emphasis (like i always do). Just by posting here wont really bring any change, unless we involve more and more people who can take strict actions. Lets involve media in case the authorities are not taking any appropriate actions. Sumit more

Try this- the half kilometer stretch in front of Jasola Metro station was badly potholed. We tried to get it repaired by calling the agencies. Local PWD owned a part,NHAI, DeLhi Metro owned some part and DDA owns the other side of the road !! We called each and evry one as they kept passing the buck. Guess what.. No one did it. It remained such for 6 months causing heavy jams. Do u think any one/ any authority cares for public inconveniences more
