WILL RAJINIKANTH TAKE A CALCULATED RISK ?

What is common between politicians and film actors is a craze for publicity. It appears that Rajinikanth is no exception.

Several times, he announced about his entry into politics and starting political party and drew the media attention to himself. One cannot be blamed, if he would suspect whether Rajinikanth would announce his political party on 31st December and whether it is an attempt to get media attention yet again and make everyone speak about him. We will know on 31st December.

Will he take a calculated risk or use the doctor’s advice to desist from active politics ?

Ambition to become the chief of the ruling party need to be matched by political skill and capability. Shivaji Ganesan realized this after starting his political party.

He ought to have started the party , if that is his real intention atleast one year back. One wonders as to whether he has any credible game plan at all or his fans and advisers have brainwashed him.

Perhaps, it would have been a better option for him to support some political party which broadly echoes his views. . In that case, his credibility will be in tact , love for publicity would be well met and calculated risk would be avoided.

common between actor and politician is; Actor make you fool through his performance over screen or stage and politicians fool you your entire life. delivering dialogues written by somebody else and taking good decisions are far wide apart but foolish public including educated go behind these actors and actresses is very very painful. more
Still a big question mark. It is good for him to keep full stop for his political entry .I sincerely feel the political era for the actors in TN is over. more
V A Sankaran. It is not timely or untimely. There is nothing wrong in announcing starting of party and entering politics. All parties in tamilnadu are fooling around calling for revival of tamils/tamilian culture etc.,. To bet none of them will have the idea of pronounciation or usage of tamil words. It is history that Sri.V.O. Swaminathan Iyer (Great Tamil Thatha) asked his grand daughter to biheart and tell all Thirukkural to get her married. Can any of the so called proclaimers of Tamil language protection party or movement or tamil culture protectionists swear and do the same for their wards. All these are not needed. Need of the time is corruption free and development oriented administration only. For this, the present Dravidian parties are unfit. Nothing wrong in Mr.Rajini starting a party. It is only to be seen when actual administration gets carried out whether the words or promises are kept as said. more
We need someone who thinks rightly, acts rightly and does rightly, and others to do the same, irrespective of his origin or field or belief. more
