Why not titles in regional languages for Modi government schemes

Born and brought up in Tamil Nadu , I do not understand Hindi. There are millions of people like me in non Hindi speaking states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, North Eastern states who do not understand Hindi.
Modi government has introduced several meaningful schemes that have far reaching economic and social importance for the country.

All such schemes have been given Hindi titles like “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana” , “Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana”, “Pradan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan”, “Pradhan Mantri Sukanya Samridhi Yojana” and several others.

As only Hindi titles are given, people in non Hindi areas wonder as to what the schemes are all about. Sometime, they even think whether they are living outside India, as the schemes are given titles in a language which they do not understand.

On the other hand, it even causes anger to see Hindi titles being imposed on them .

This is probably one reason why BJP is unable to make a big entry in states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala , Andhra Pradesh etc.
All said and done, it is necessary to recognize that there is resentment against imposition of Hindi amongst large number of people in non Hindi speaking states.

It is necessary to ensure that Mr. Modi and other ministers in the central government speak in English language in non Hindi speaking states to the extent possible, to win the attention of the people.

I endorse Shri Venkataramanji's view point. It is for better understanding that the titles translation also be given in the regional languages. For your information when the previous CM was in poweer she stopped teaching Hindi in all Matriculation schools. Only CBSE system teaches Hindi. People in power should not turn a blind eye towards a language which is spoken by a majority of Indians. We are not averse to learning Hindi but ordinary, commonman does not know Hindi. Therefore if BJP is aiming at more acceptability even among total Tamils Shri Venkataramanji's suggestion is good. more
nothing wrong mentioning in all local languages so that the reach is wider and understood better. more
Dear Sir, Please note that as per my knowledge most of the Schools in  Tamil Nadu are teaching Hindi. You are not aware of what is happening in the other states. My humble request is whenever you find time  please visit other states and find out weather the people can speak Hindi or not. In connection with Business I have traveled most of the place in India and noticed most of the people are speaking Hindi.   Tamil Nadu the present group came to Power only because of the Hindi agitation & people dissatisfaction of the then ruling party. During the time I was in School and took active part in the agitation few time got arrested. I also born and brought up in Tamil Nadu and during my school days we were having Hindi from 9th Standard. That time I was knowing only Tamil and little English. It was the age for learning so I took interest in learning Hindi. Now I can speak Hindi well. This is helping me a lot when ever I go out of state. Presently many people are travelling to Germany for Job and Education. Some level examination are to be cleared for selection. People are joining in the German coaching School and studying years to complete certain level of Examination. In India there are 122 languages people are speaking and Hindi is one among that. So we should not see language and Caste as a barrier. We should compromise and sail as one India one Team. For your kind information 80% of the children are studying in the English medium school and only less percentage in Tamil medium. Many parents do not know the English language but still they want their children should study in the English medium. Some how they are managing to learn the language and becoming Engineers, Doctors, Scientist , Lawyer, Auditor etc. In general if people want to open a Bank Account or Insurance Policy or any other such things, what we are doing, we are visiting nearby place contacting concerned authorities, clarifying  and completing the job. Similarly if  we want to know about the Central Govt. scheme mentioned below we can very well go to the nearby concerned office and clear our doubts. “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana” , “Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana”, “Pradan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan”, “Pradhan Mantri Sukanya Samridhi Yojana” and several others.  It is the responsibility of the State Govt. to Translate the schemes in local language for the benifit of the publics. As per my opinion and observation whatever Schemes , Policies Govt brings, the Opposition always talk 180 degree opposite without analyzing the merits and de merits. If this is the attitude of the Politicians then where the Growth for  our  country. If we want to Nation growth our thinking, attitude , vision should be different from the self motivated people. Young and educated society should take active part in the Govt. projects.   Thanks & Regards, S.Krishnan - Director, DMW CNC Solutions India Pvt Ltd, From: N. S. I fully endorse your view.Either they can put the translation in English or the languages of the states. If we are heading towards federal set of states like "Union" this is absolutely necessary. There is nothing wrong learning Hindi. The regional channels as well as private channels, can teach both Hindi and English daily for 10 to 20 minutes.Ultimately the Govt of all states should see that the schemes reaches the poor of the poorest in India.National channels should put subtitles in English when programme is in Hindi especially news. There is nothing wrong using English. more
WELL NSV - I HAVE LIVED MOSTLY IN NORTH INDIA AND HAVE NOW SETTLED IN SOUTH BUT, EVEN I GET STUMPED BY THE TITTLES OF SOME OF THOSE GRANDSTAND SCHEMES ANNOUNCED BY NAMO GOVT. IT WILL HELP IF THEY ARE ALSO PUBLICIZED IN ENGLISH - AT LEAST IN SOUTHERN STATES. WELL, DON'T KNOW WHETHER IT WOULD MAKE SENSE TO NAMO OR SHAH. IF THEY NEED BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SCHEMES PAN INDIA - THEY SHOULD..!!.. more
