WHY DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN JALLIKATTU AND TEMPLE ENTRY

Jallikattu is permitted if the players get vaccinated twice and audience get vaccinated two times. Why not put the same conditions for temple entry with devotees permitted if they would get vaccinated two times for entry.

Strange are the ways of Tamil Nadu government these days.

The reason is known internally to the present government of Tamilnadu. It is as simple as that. If their writ goes the temples may be closed for most of the year. more
What about TASMAC? Is Corona afraid of TASMAC or its Patrons??? more
Mr. Venkatraman, the restriction is not only for the Temple, but all religiousplaces of worship. The New Year Service that starts on the last day of the year and goes rihght into the New Year day. The Churches had to alter the Age old timing and close the Service on 31st night at 10.30, normally ending after midnight (Dawn of New Year). People didn't get disappointed at all.Because it was for a cause of the concern for "Public Health" over Religious sentiments". All the religious places of worship followed the instructions to the Hilt. The Almighty will never be angry with the members of Congregation or the Administration for preventing the Devotees to stay on till dawn of New Year .Many with faith had gone back home well before the Strike of New Year to Pray to Save the Family, people of State and the Nation and the world from SARS Cov-2 and its Variatns. But I don't want to comment on why Jallikattu is being allowed. I am staying away from that. more
As a whole this Government is rudderless and biased more
Manuel Aaron: Jallikattu happens only once in a year and only in certain places. Places of worship are open almost 24 x 7 and everywhere. The comparison is incomprehensible! more
Pongal is a special day. It does not happen every day. more
