8. TTEs offer these seats to travelers after taking bribes
9. Unused VIP quota seats also get used by railway staff’s relatives more

VIP Quota is nuisance. It should be removed. They all should be brought under Tatkal Quota range. The pass system for railway employees & family should be Computerised, be it on duty or otherwise. It will curtail their misuse which is enormous at present. more
Try to have citizen committees and sub-committees for each issue just as there are abroad they have community centres and I have participated in many of them. They are encouraged by Municipalities and are very effective. Citizen participate at ground level Local Advisory committees. Our senior citizens can be very helpful in this. These committees are voluntary non-paid and effective. Citizens actually support the railways and its employees and motivate them and together solve the problem. It is a common problem and need to be solved with positive attitude from citizens and Railways. Corruption is a long term issue and can be eliminated with education and better secured environment. We have so much managerial talent which needs to be channelised into productive process. Modiji's leadership needs the support of citizens. Citizens need to act and participate to encourage and appreciate and bring down resistance to change by Railways. Criticism should be avoided as it will raise resistance. I think start in a small way with the help of the Railways and the local municipality and a joint effort will bring something positive. Hope the Railways and Municipalities are listening. Without their willingness citizens participation may be difficult. The positive environment is necessary. Its our India and we need to take care of it like one big family in whatever we can no matter how ever little is the contribution. Even a positive though is a great contribution. more
always show second side of quata, this facility not remove, more
The quota needs to b reduced drastically. Person using it should mention the details of persons for whom it was used n why more
1. Only the current members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and the Spouse of the same members and the defined PA's or/and PS and limited personal staff should be given PASSES by the Railways. 2. Please DEFINE VIP quota , so that there is no AMBIGUITY left to manipulation. more
