No Concession for Disabled Persons in Railway Travel
With a deep sense of regret I am writing this post. The Railway Ministry has removed Senior Citizen Concession which was an existing facility.
Today while checking fare for AC Chair Car in Tejas Express I found that Concession for Physically Handicapped persons also has been removed. It is surprising that PM calls handicapped persons "Divyangjan" and Railways have removed existing facility.
May be PM is not aware what damage his Rail Minister is doing to his image of SABKA SATH SABKA VIKAS SABKA VISWAS.
Request Local Circles to kindly bring this matter to PM's attention for redressal. more

From various messages it is clear that revenue earned from passengers is much less then what Railways is spending on passengers. And it is being subsidized from Cargo income. Hence Railway is bent upon withdrawing practically all concessions offered to passengers. To increase Cargo income Railway is introducing Dedicated freight Corridors. more

Depending on attendance and contribution in parlament and assemblies the facilities also be allowed. more

Since when senior citizens concessions restored?. Can some body share railway notification restoring senior citizens? more

We the common people gets driven by the bloody popular slogans of the government. They are insulting the common people by saying that they want free rations. These are not free rations. It helps the old and infirm. The PM rightly said that PH people are Digvangjan. So, they can fly by themselves because they have Divine (divya) powers. Total nonsense is being propogated. more

This refers to all freebies & concession should be removed etc We fully agree BUT what about Politicians & Rly employees hence First start from them Ok more
