VC Hearing in Delhi Consumer Courts
Consumer courts in Delhi will soon resume VC hearing. Immediately after Covid pandemic, Consumer courts had stopped VC due to lack of infrastructure necessary for VC hearing. Various representations by Consumer courts did not wake up Delhi Govt. This year I filed PIL CWP No. 6355/2025 in Delhi and on 27.10.2025, Delhi Govt informed the Chief Justice's Court that funds has been approved by Delhi Govt. Last week I visited Delhi State Commission and I came to know that State Commission had started sending equipments etc to Consumer Courts. Hopefully VC hearing will commence within 2 weeks. I am sure that this will give big relief to Ld. Colleagues from legal fraternity. more
