Its a matter of common knowledge that contractors load goods wagon & show much lesser weight in booking slips resulting in leakage in Freight earned by Railways. Suggest that Goods carrying wagon should be having inbuilt mechanism / electronic weigh scale in wagon itself which shows laden & Unladen weight of carrying wagon. Railway order to wagon supplier shud be having said clause & for existing wagon can be retrofitted. Feel this can be done easily by manufacturer at time of supply itself. more
