Unauthorised persons in Railway stations.
It is common scene to see beggars, persons who have no work, anti-social elements, ladies begging with children, etc in most of the Railway stations. In certain Metropolitan Railway Terminals, women trafficking / child trafficking are said to be taking place. All these menace is that either side of the Railway stations are not protected with fence etc, and outsiders prevented from entering. The Station authorities do not bother to drive them out. Many above said persons make it habit to come to Rly.station during night time to sleep, or to do anti social activities. If RPF is strict to drive them out and barricade is put at both ends of stations, and frequent checking for tickets from persons remaining at stations for unreasonable time, it will go a long way to clean up the Railway stations, and keep it clean too. more

Why don't we have effective/ working CCTV coverage in all stations and monitored by responsible person. Another CCTV will required to monitor the person manning the station CCTV. more

RPF must be held responsible if any theft takes place in platform. Then things will smoothly. more

Once we caught a thief stealing a passenger's bag and reported the matter to TTE.We handed over him to RPF in the next statin.The incharge of RPF asked us to get down and break our journey inorder to register the complaint.We could not do so.The culprit was left by us on the platform and we continued our journey.After a fortnight when we were returning,surprisingly we saw the same thief indulging in hearty talk in the same station with the RPF over a cup of tea and a puff cigar . more
