To Change Farm Land Ownership from
Hello all,
I want to ask that, a piece of 2.5 acres of farm land is on the name of my grandfather and their 2 sons. And now the condition is all these 3, means my grandfather, my father and my big father all are died. During last 5 years, when my father and big father are alive, this property held in court case, but now the case is cleared. So my question is, can i apply for insert my name as owner of my part of that farm land in govt records, so that i can sell that part for my own. And if yes, then please tell me the procedure with documentation.

" insert my name as owner of my part of that farm land in govt records, " can be done along with other's name also be recorded. You have to submit the death Certificates along with proof of your claim that you are legal and eligible hair of the same along with others to the Tahasildar office. more

if you wish to dispose off your share you have to settle with all legal heirs of your share,than with their agreement copy which has to register with authority,than change land record with your application along with NOC from other members for change in record of said property. when record is changed you as owner than you may do what you wish. more

1. You have to obtain a legal heir certificate from the competent authority. 2. Then submit in the related revenue office for transfer of the property into your name. 3. Get the revenue records mutated 4. Now you become the owner of the property. 5. Once the property is transferred into your name in revenue records and sub-registrar office, you are free to do whatever you need to do. more

Since it is your Grand father and his two son's name and both of them are expired,in such case your father's and your Uncle's all siblings including male and female name to be registered as the owner.You alone cannot claim the entire land. more

with death certificate of your father you can prove that you are legal heir and land record shall /can be included as owner of land. more
