Tips demanded by catering staff

It has now become very common to collect tips(money) from the passengers travelling in Duronto and Shatabdi Express at the end of the final meal. Some of them also demand more, stating the reason that catering staff members are paid very less. It is also duty of the railway authorities to check whether the catering contractors engage themselves in unfair practices. Effective steps have to be taken to stop the collection of tips from the passengers since the adequate catering charges has been included in the ticket. more  

in restaurant also it is voluntary, no one is coming and asking for tips as a begger, they bring a tray in place of bowl and asking and forcing to pay. this system is prevalent in Rajdhani also more  
This problem is there in Shatabdi Trains (Chennai-Bang-Chennai) more  
Duronto travellers face this problem. Those who wish to give it to any person willingly is no issue but it becomes a sort of demand.This needs to be stoped more  
Demand for tips are most common on all prestigious trains .question is whether people do not pay tips in restaurants or pay so called service charges .Then why such hulla-gulla. more  
Similar experience on Rajdhani Express from Bangalore. Two sets of troups will ask(Bed roll providers & Catering) tips. In other trains passenger is not sure of charges for various items served and asked by Pantry delivery boys. A rate cared should be made mandatory to be carried by Boys as well placed in each compartment in trains where Pantry services are available more
