Some poor people in TN not receiving LPG subsidy

I am receiving number of complaints from people belonging to lower income group in Tamil Nadu that they have not been receiving LPG subsidy amount for the last six months or so.

My verification shows that it is true ito some extent. I am afraid that this is bringing lot of bad reputation for Modi government amongst the poor people in Tamil Nadu.

Modi government should look into the matter with great sense of urgency and do the needful.

All the excellent work done by Modi government should not be allowed to be derailed by inefficient implementation of laudable schemes.

The LPG subsidy is going into "Airtel Bank" if your airtel number is linked to the consumer number of the LPG supplier (at least in HP). This happened to my driver and took about one week to sort out. He had submitted his bank account, but still the money is credited into AIRTEL bank. Is there a scam going on? more

While Modiji's efforts to make everything digital is most welcome, it should be ensured that common man with insufficient knowledge is not affected at all. 1)Communication between govt and citizens is not taking place properly. Advertisements, e mails, messages (sms), web communications are grossely insufficient. 2)More and more people are becoming jobless for survival. Connecting 1 & 2 above, I feel it is time that postal department services are more utilised by the government first, in addition to mass media based communications. It may take more time, but communication reaches concerned people and they know what they need to do, to continue getting all benefits. more
