Railway Passenger Grievance System - Inputs

Dear Circle Members:

Many of you have raised concerns in independent posts or through comments about Railway's Current Passenger Grievance System.

With this post, we would like you to list all the Issues you have experienced with the current Grievance System.

Once we know the Issues, we will follow the structured approach and get to Solutions using a separate post.

Objective would be to put together a whitepaper for the Railway Board and Railway Minister so actions can be taken to improve the Passenger Grievance System of Railways.

From my point view only one way to control the railways to go for PRIVATIZATION, Otherwise we will not get word class service, more  
Recently my relatives travelling from Delhi to Chennai, their tkt was dropped as waitlist. One fraud person came on Newdelhi station with copy of chart, he asked him whether you want confirm seat, my relative told yes, then he collected tkt from him and told him that he will give him the birth . and told the passenger to go to the particular coach and check your seat and come to me , i will confirm your seat, in the mean time he ran away with the tkts. more  
Make information on quota of berth reservation transparent and open to travelers/citizens. Based on this information any average human brain can decide whether to go for advance reservation on train or book for flight! Justify fares on SUVIDAH train fares. more  
Review SUVIDAH fares! Its extremely high and deserve justification, may be an RTI. more  
Preference to be given for senior citizens for allotment of lower berths. more
