I buy one flat in mumbai and i paid the half amount of flat but builder is not doing registration by my name and when i ask my money back he not giving my money back also. he just giving me false promises. anybody can help me out from this situation. more

The first and formost is the Agreement and the Payment Proof, hopefully you must have paid the amount by cheque/s only. Pl. be careful to know the minute details of the payments and and Agreement. Considering all options - including the Police Complain Or Private complaint under S 156 (3) of IPC, Consumer Commission is the Best remedy which is comparatively less hassled and speedy. The New Real estate law also will be helpful to you in conjunction with the Gujarat Real Estate law. If you desire yolu can opt all together symutinously. more

Consumer court is good , but also file a police compliant under section 420 to make the pressure more

Yu may approach Consumer Forum or Court under RERA Act. Pls refer to RERA to see provisions for protecting consumers contained in it. more
