Problems with Tikona data services
This is one such consumer related issue where I am the effected party. Tikona outsourced people are taking me for a ride. Just now I received another text message and when I called on the given number the girl threatened me!!
Here is the rest of the story
I have been receiving calls as well as text messages - today was another one of them - surprising that after years and i have told them clearly there is nothing about any dues from my side I get threat calls - one text sms i just received - i called back asap 7838597504 - one girl picked up - spoke in a crude manner (obviously outsourced)- then another lady came online - she threatened me that she is going to give my number and my details to the legal team to file a case. the last time I received a threat call from a guy I went to the police station and complained (I knew the OSD) - he asked me if I want to file an FIR against the boy and tikona - i told him no just call him and tell him not to call again - the OSD called - spoke to him and after speaking in the boys or collection guys language he told him next time he would get the guy to the police station to explain the entire process (police)
If ever I receive a call again from you or an sms I shall file an FIR that you have threatened me again - please check all records from the local installation person (that is if he is still working with you ) to the branch manager and the head (who was on con call and promised he would resolve the issue but after that he has not been picking my calls)0
your subsequent mails with my complaint number (last one which you gave . 1-3656512245) is filed datewise as well as all interactions. Suggest instead of you outsourced people handling my case escalate it to Tikona.

thank you Mr. Ram - appreciate your advise - like I mentioned earlier I am well acquainted with their process - yes and just to add to what you mentioned sir - not all of the collection people are outsourced - there are two parts to the collection process as I mentioned - when it is the question of the second or the hard collection - most of the companies want professional approach for which they have their own people on board or have their people as head of outsourced agency placed at the outsourced agency and who is accountable for process implementation. These Recovery Agents are outsourced. Next time if you get a call, please ask him to see you personally with all documentary proof that he has, at a location where there are movement of more number of general public. When you see him personally, ask for his I-Card, take photo of the person and the I-Card. Also take details of the Recovery Agent, including the name, contact details. You may coolly tell to take action against you. This would be another way to tackle the recovery menace. more

Yes Mr. Ram I have all the evidence - as a professional in various field I have to an extent enhanced my knowledge of legal aspect too - let me assure you sir any call recording is not a guarantee as a proof in the court of law as the recording has o be subjected to various other process which would enable without doubt that the person speaking are the same people against who allegations are being made - you see our law is a combination of several issues and the most challenging part is trying to prove what we have told and then trying to prove the other party wrong - in all the "mele" the legal fraternity (with exceptions) benefit - in addition to this big companies have advocates and lawyers sitting idle or those who are outsourced are being payed a certain retainer ship fees - the collection head loves to leverage this people to facilitate his collection - so its a long cycle which is made to look easy by the legal professional (as mentioned there are some exceptions ) more

Most of the mobile devices have a recording facility on incoming/outgoing calls. Keep this facility ON and record any such calls you may receive in future and this would be an evidence for you to take further action against the perpetrators. alternatively, please ask them to send you an email briefing what they want. Trust you have kept documentary evidence of your having made the payments as these would be useful in future when you contemplate taking legal remedy. more

Singhwan Sir, there are two kinds of recovery stages - one is the soft recovery and the other is hard recovery. The recovery action is taken by an organization based on the amount a customer has defaulted. We as citizens should be aware of sorting out issues before it goes into hard recover (usually the amount increases when fine and penalty ) adds to the basic amount. However such cases are rarest of rare cases. It is in our hands when we are purchasing a service that we are very clear of the terms and conditions - alternatively no one from an organization can influence us ( I wonder when we cannot influence a child how can we as adults be influenced to purchase a service- on the lighter side). We use a product, we pay else if there is an issue we take the appropriate route - going to police never ever shall solve such issue Sir. more
