PF Deductions
Many of the private enterprises about 97% are not providing payslip to their employees. The minimum wages act, PF act, contract act talks of this simple provision since ages, so many watch and observation agencies are claiming and crowning them with expensive medals and stars in lieu of enforcement, but reality is not changing.
Higher PF deductions are made but not shown and deposited in employees PF account. The employee does not has any proof of deduction and helpless. If he asks next day he is removed from his service.
Everybody is talking about draconian labour laws, rights, and required simplification.
Can something be done to restore the basic right, fundamental requirement of Pay Slip provision , before we start curtailing Labour rights. more

Every PF account holders are given unique PF number since 2006 or so. Every institutes are given PF Code and institutes have to deposit PF by 15 of each month. I request our doubtful members to open PF website and enjoy few moments of knowledge gaining time in the life at least for once. Still I state we Indians are only criticizing animals without any basic knowledge. Kindly approach RTI and seek right information about any institute where in your mind has and doubt exits. Have you got enough guts then go a head. more

It is unfortunate that each one of the worker should know the statutory provision abd right of employees and employers no one educated to it is burden duty cost on each employees to demand for payslips form no 16etc but in our country worker feel that employers are doing favours ti them while providing job so they are teeth less the education means after tenth standard these things should be compulsory teaching should be there or trade organisations should provide this information through conducting seminars interaction with resource person more

Issues like this may be an eye opener for the government. To cope up with such issues govt should establish a cell under collector office which is responsible to keep records of all the enterprises/organisations in which they have sufficient no. of employees as per PF rules. They compile information on size, no. of employees, salary drawn, and PF deductions. Also, it makes compulsory for each and every organisation to deposit PF deducted with govt through this cell, it is the duty of a/cs dept of that org. to keep updated this cell about joining of new employee or about who lefts. It is in practice now also but it should modify this way to keep records of org. working at even in a very remote areas. more

If your company is not issuing monthly payslips (you had better check up as you might be having access to your company's intranet where you can check all your personal inf), the company is bound by law to issue Form 16 & 16A in May every year for the past financial year where all your allowances & deductions would be listed. CHECK THIS. more

You have raised valid point. But, one thing can each employee do, register at EPFO and get unique no and tag your new PF no with the Unique no. Once it is done you will keep receiving SMS from EPFO how much is deposited in your PF account. Currently I am getting it. Hope it will work for all. more
