Old Property Loan from Private firm
Hi,
This is question for property loan from private firm for fixed term who had been took over by other firm & because of that they increased the loan repayment term & due to this i need to pay higher than what i expected to pay with old owner, & this have been done w/o informing me. Is this possible with any finance firm ? Kind request to please assist me with this. I would like to take necessary action against this finance firm.

I think your contract with the first firm will be the basis of any disputes. So unless the new firm gives you due notice asking you to either square off the old loan or accept enhanced interest, the action might not be legal. Personally speaking I think the amount can not be increased at all legally. You might go to consumer court to get it settled. more

Both financial firms firms have to give full details regarding their transaction especially with regard to your loan.Prior intimation is a must in these dealings. Terms and conditions cannot be changed unilaterally.If the new party refuse to go back to the older rules, issue a notice to the party giving them 7 days time to respond, and if they still persist, file a case in your District Consumer Forum. more
