Jallikattu

It is the indecisiveness of the Jayalalitha Government that has lead to this Agitation. There is no point in blaming the previous Government. The present Ruling Party with Two Thirds Majority in the Assembly is in a position can amend, promulgate laws to suit the people of Tamilnadu. If a law can be passed to have the Liquor Trade under the Government`s control why this complacency on the part of the Ruling Party. It is the gross accumulation of indecisiveness of the Ruling Party that has lead to the awakening of the people of Tamilnadu especially the youth. With No Water, No Cheap Electricity, No Industrial Promotion, with No Foreign Direct Investments in Tamilnadu for the past 7 years,With the side effects of all these factors has forced the youngsters to resort to peaceful agitation. The Bull is a symbol of Tamil Culture. In every temple the Bull is the first deity just before the Kodi Kambham. Nobody could have missed seeing this. Therefore all Tamilians and Tamil Loving people should appreciate this peaceful agitation. At this rate Industrial Production in our State will be very low and Tamilnadu will only be a market for the Up-country`s Finished Products. The Cause and Effect will certainly be over a period of time, BUT IT HAS TO BE NIPPED IN THE BUD. more

Well said Mr. Harivel, last 7 years there is no industrial growth and infrastructural growth, my worry is a government with full majority with 42 MPs not performed any think, because the corruption cases. At present the political situation is very poor and danger, we clearly understand that some body trying to lead a government under the cover of puppets. more
It is time for retreat of the Pro Jallikattu agitators as their main aim for conduct of Jallikattu has been acceded. No politics should be brought in and the well being and conduct of the people in Tamilnadu should be in the fore-front. more
HARIVEL - PART OF WHAT YOU HAD SAID IS TRUE..... THIS JALLIKATTU MATTER COULD HAVE BEEN SORTED OUT DURING YEAR 2015/2016 ITSELF. THIS WAS NOT DONE UNDER JJ BECAUSE SHE WAS TRYING TO GET ON THE 'RIGHT SIDE' OF NAMO, WHO HAD BEEN ARM TWISTING HER WITH HER "PENDING CASES"..!!.. DURING THIS CURRENT AGITATION ALSO - OPS HAS BEEN PASSIVE BECAUSE HE WAS KEEN ON "THE CHAIR" AND THEN SASIKALA "DARED NOT SPEAK OUT OF TURN" TO CENTER. THE PENT UP FRUSTURATION OF TAMILS DUE TO CONTINUOUS NEGLECT SHOWN BY CENTER IN THE FISHERMEN CASE, CAUVERY CASE AND NOW THE JALLIKATTU CASE " HAD TO BLOW UP SOMETIME"...!!.... AND IT DID IN A BIG WAY...AIADMK GOVT HAS LET US DOWN : OTHER POLITICIANS HAVE ALSO LET US DOWN : AND BJP (NAMO ) IS WAITING FOR AN OPENING TO "SHOW UP AS THE SAVIOUR".... THE FUTURE FOR TAMILS LOOK PATHETIC.....IT IS OUR FATE...!!!... more
"Tip of the ice burg", we all know that very well our present ruling TN govt status, no matter we all have to withstand towards our rights, agitators doesn't have an intention more
To add few points, Jayalalitha has passed resolution to release Rajiv Gandhi killers apart from liquor bill. Yes this agitation is an expression of people unhappiness with politicians on Cauvery Tribunal, Farmer's suicide, no industrial growth, shrinking employment , corruption & of-course step motherly treatment of central Govt, demonetization etc., more
