Railway is like blood circulation to the heart. Railway should not be the carrier to COVID and for which there is disruption in running of Railway network. It expected to be restore very soon. more

1. Cleanliness of compartments and related facilities 2. Timeliness 3. No crowding in coaches, including general compartments 4. Increase speed of trains (not bullet). 5. Make TTEs as captains of trains and give them responsibility and authority to deal with passenger and other issues. 6. Reduce seating in sitting coaches to increase comfort 7. No ticketing on board the train. This increases corruption 8. Whatsapp,email if petson to be contacted on board the train to report issues.9. where train facilities are not available, run feeder buses to nearest station. 10. Remove all quotas, including VIP. 11. All railway employees, ministers to travel only by train (no air). 12. Have medical facilities in trains 13. Run Memu trains for distances of 60 to 70 kms. 14. Most new trains are in the north. South, west also need more trains.no partiality please. 15. Barricade sides of railway lines to stop dwellings and garbage. 16. Re-introduce library in long distance trains. Wifi, tv not required. 17. Display of next station, next stoppage, speed, scheduled arrival time, expected arrival time.... in every compartment. more

There are enough suggestions already in this group. There was a mail from railways asking for suggestions. I have pointed then to this group. more

Why concession cannot be given to senior citizens now? Give lesser seats as is done for normal passengers. You don't mean to say that no senior citizens are travelling in the trains for the past eight months or so? more

It was already explained that present dropping of concession was only to discourage unnecessary travel by sr. citizens in COVID period more
