Cleaning of compartment/toilets in second sleeper and general coach is in very poor condition.Cleaning duty staff must check/done cleaning in short interval duration and also verification check/verified by passengers/compartment TTE. more

Security is a prime factor in all long distance train. There should be fine system those who make dirty the train. more

As mentioned elsewhere, the class 4 employees are deployed at the residents of Rly. officials, the cleaning of compartments are let alone unattended, This has resulted in the present day's shabby condition. We are compelled to travel with bed-bugs, rats and cockroaches. Some trains are serving spiders as well (lot of cobwebs found in so-called superfast South bound trains from Chennai Egmore) more

White paper is ok but one has to be very specific to problem to have a better results, i come from Jammu, Jammu station was adjudged the best station in NR but today the situation is pathetic, one has to analyse problems on micro levels to join all micro to make macro on National level. Each and every problem needs detailed scrutiny and then the final result. Why not the money earned through parking lots used for the upkeep of that station, there will be no pretext of fund crunch for maintaining railway stations. more
