How to get salary & other dues from ex employer
I was working as Sr. GM with a Co. Due to downsizing I had to move out of co. in Aug 15 along with a dozen senior officials. Co. has not settled mine & many others Full & final yet. I was paid partly in two installments after several follow ups. Still about INR 2.7 lac are pending which include my last month salary, 3 months salary arrears & Performance linked bonus. Last month co. closed down operations, retrenching about 400 employees closing their Gurgaon office where I was employed & shifted to Delhi office (Registered office) with 8-10 employees, mostly accountants. They don't entertain my calls & don't reply to emails. I checked from Gurgaon Labour office, they told they can't help & can't take such case since being Sr. GM I can't come under category of Workman & they entertain cases where salary is upto INR 18K pm. They advised me to file case in Civil court. Can any one guide me how to get dues without filing any case in Civil court? Which govt. body can help me? more

PG portal cite can be reached by searching on www.pgportal.gov.in further you will be directed towards state or central govt. grievance, accordingly you can choose and submit as directed. I have beenm aleready using this cite for more than 3 years and almost every week to lodge complaints against different authorities, very helpful. more

Mr. Saran, i fully accept your views. In stead of having several dictators (politicians) better have one responsible honest hardcore dictator. Then India can have hopes. I will be too pleased even to sacrifice my life for such a benevolent leader! more

Democracy has failed in India because of lack of education, population explosion and corrupt people and the good are cowards and mere spectators.A benevolent dictator needs to rise like a Sphinx from the ashes and beat the hell out of the corrupt politicians. Till then, patiently bear with all the crimes in the society. Our criticisms are like water on a duck's back. It brings no results. more
