FOOD QUALITY IN TRAIN NEED TO IMPROVE
1)Everybody knows,food quality is very poor.
2)In pantry car once a person see the process and food he will never eat any food from pantry.
3)the train where pantry not available out vendors are supplying and cheating passengers.
4)In rajdhani trains attendants are totally giving services on the basis of tips only. more

friends i like to suggest for food services. all train running more than 12 hrs journey. all station time already in oftime table. when booking ticket. there should be a coloume for food services like aero plane ticket booking it should be marked that food will taken or not. so railway or out source agency could provided food at destination on travel i feel 100"s of agency will be ready to supply food. the supplier are on every junction of above 100km distance point air marked stations secondly where food are prepare, ISO certification and quality must be ensure by a team with positive atitute. if food are not as sample passed a penalty must be in big rupees with punishment not as congress govt aayog ka gathan kar janch karayege, report never come in last 60years. similar point must be add. more

Just outsource all catering to other players. And give space to multiple players/vendors. Quality would come in automatically. But there should be some option for price control... more

The other point is regarding food in train the rates are high.There is a vendor in jaipur in sitapura industrial estate who supplies food at following price points Rs59 ,Rs79, Rs119. delivery free. We have tried the food it is freshly cooked hygenic and if railways obtain a rate it could be much lower. so on board food be fresh,nicely packed,tasty and moderately priced always paneer subzi is not preferred by a passenger.Like wise snacks can be upma ,Idlee, samosa, bread and omlette, bread and potato rolls or tikki or cutlets priced under Rs 50/-.There could be Janta Khana Rs 20-25/- that should be available .Poories, Sabzi and dairy pakaged curd. more
