Fake Advocates
Yesterday (24/01/2017), I was watching a debate show on NDTV channel and came across with some astonishing facts which I would like to share with the members of this forum.
As per the experts participating in the debate show reveled that there are nearly 14 Lakh Advocates registered with different Bar Councils of India and out of those nearly 7.5 Lakh Advocates are fake. Fake Advocates means, either they do not have a Law Degree at all or have a fake degree.
Only 6.5 Lakh advocates are genuine.
Also, the expert informed that more than 200 Law colleges in India will be shut down in next two months time because those colleges do not meet necessary criterion of being a Law College. Therefore, Law students, their parents and guardians need to be cautious that their institute does not fall among those Law colleges.
Another point raised by the experts was that, there are Senior Counsels in Supreme Court and usually Judges listen to those Counsels only and not to other normal advocates.

Dear Mr. V.V. Chandrashekharji, there must be a reason for your conducting a research on the subject matter. That only was my point. True. I think the posting of TKG Nambiar, Advocate, of 26.01.2017 is helpful and should be taken note of by the Law Commission and the Bar Council of India for implementation. more

Once the late P.M. of India Mr. V. P. Singh said, if a false is repeated hundred times, it becomes the truth. And, that prevails in the system dominated by the false and fake leadership of all hues. At least, I do not have the solution to suggest in the given political situation right from the Independence Day. more
