Extend at least care to protect passengers from heat and rain
Someone has shared a photo of a Railway Station where even there is no shed to protect the passengers from heat and rain. I do not know which station it is. But in general, such stations could be seen when travelling by long distance trains.
I feel Railways should look into as to ensure that the passengers are provided minimum courtesy of shelter to protect from them from the scorching heat and rains specially when the trains do run late as high as 30 hrs or so as being shown on media. It is the least expectation of any passengers and it is also the least care that can be extended by the Railways. more

yes correct these types stations are so many india but mostly they don't have frequent connectivity with trains so passengers are less this might be the reason that railway is not bothering about providing shelters and other basic amenities but this completely not acceptable. This government duty to provide basic necessities to the citizens of india. Once i strongly condemned and urge indian railway to look in to the matter and do the needful at earliest for all the stations/junctions. Imagine if the lady would have been some VIP politicians railways employee wife/sister/mother/daughter. Because she is a common man then who cares? more

Yes, I do agree that some stations don't have shelters. The railways should provide the minimum needs of the passengers. more

YES. Railway must provide appropriate shed for passengers at platforms, on all stations, where any passenger train has a halt. Chetram Khemram more

Yes, in all Railway stationers, based on passenger activities, there should be small / medium or large shed in each and every platform. more
