EVEN STATE RUN ESTABLISHMENT TOO HOODWINK AUTHORITIES .

TASMAC referred to in the clipping is the Tamilnadu State Marketing Corporation , Government owned and run wholesale and retail outlets. The headlines says Rs. 10 to 25 is charged extra [without billing ]per bottle depending on the size ,Quarter , Half or Full bottles. Not only in the Elite outlets , also uniformly in all outlets. It works to almost 4 % .TASMAC has 3,866 vending shops and 1,456 Bars attached to outlets through the State . TASMAC sells Liquor worth over 30,000 Crores per Annum. Calculate the 4 % of 30,000 Crores. A whooping amount of over 1,000 Crores goes unbilled . It is a burden on the Consumer , the majority being the poor class .

The connected consumer Circle has made so many complaints on various commodities and is getting the M.R.P. sale price rule established. I think the Government should take special interest to see that ONLY THE MRP AMOUNT IS COLLECTED FROM THE CONSUMERS BY THE TASMAC AND ISSUE RECEIPTS FOR ALL SALE.

At least let the Government Establishments show the way towards collecting only M.R.P. Price fixed and printed , so that the Private Traders will also follow suit.If the law makers don't follow the Rules , How will they have controll over the traders and check them ? more

The post appeared in the connected Consumer with the heading "OVERCHARGING ,PROFITEERING isn’t THE DOMAIN of PRIVATE TRADERS ALONE" . Thanks for shifting to the right circle. This clip is taken from 'The Hindu" of 26th December 18 [that is today ] I have read it and many who buy The Hindu would have also read it . How is that the Authorities don't take note of this ? more
Absolutely correct matter one of discussion A Silent Corruption..Actually When i asked, they replied as compensation amount for breakage/any damage as directed by most of Supervisiors and Branch Managers.TASMAC provided control room tollfree no. and paid no.18004252015/ 04428542303 for any complaints.I used once on the spot and buy the product without any extra pay.But many not aware of it for any action against such corruption.Simply neglected as Rs 5 or 10 per person per bottle, not a big burden and they need only the kick at the moment not any arguments. But overal anual cummulative amount goes beyond imagination. Our money goes unaccountably to someone/group not as our accountable tax amount for all consumer products which may sometimes used for development aspects. Why not send this complaint to the Secretary of the concerned Ministry? balagangadharan On Wed, Dec 26, 2018 at 12:27 PM Jayakumar Daniel < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more
It would be naive to think this issue would be addressed. A hefty part of the skimming goes to the politicians in power, without lifting a finger. Privatising liquor sales may be the answer. more
Cannot happen without Connivance and Knowledge of Higher Officials. Further, it seems to be a very normal practice for consumers also, since no one raises any objection or files a complaint. Even if any of the consumer did file a complaint am sure it would yield no result due to connivance of Senior Authorities. more
