Why do we give control of train in hands of any lay person?? We have outdated system of CHAIN PULLING TO STOP TRAINS. This allows local passengers to pull chains at their village and they happily run away. they even do it on express trains and many times it leads to major accidents. Example ACIIDENT BETWEEN MEWAD EXPRESS & GOA EXPRESS a few years back near MATHURA JUNCTION. And why we allow local passengers to happily enter express trains?? They misbehave with passengers travelling on reserved births. more

Dear friend one important issue is the safety of passengers specially the women passengers in remote area trains. I saw a news in TOI Bangalore about 15 days back a lady was thrown out of the train when she resisted rape approach by some unidentified person in lonely compartment. Perhaps this may not be the only incident in railway history. It is observed that many trains get suddenly empty at some particular bigger station before they reach final destination and many times in odd times evening, night etc. and left out few passengers are always at safety risk as local Gundas are aware of this fact well. Also no special RPF Force for such cases. Railways are well awareof this fact. In view of allotted seats passengers do not move to other populated coaches for their safety. It will be better if railways change the seating pattern in coaches after such stations arrive and ear mark a particular coach numbers with RPF security arrangements announced to the public in advance while booking the railway tickets to stop such cases. 1. There should be no difference between e ticket and i ticket as many people want to travel with thr WL Tickets. 2. Extra chair car facility AC/Non Ac should be provided for WL Travellers. Which gives comfort to confirmed tkt as well as WL tkt travellers. 3. Pls mainten the public toilets at station. 4. Provide double decker coaches for General bogi to increase the capacity. 5. Provide the display of upcoming stations on every coach as it is very difficult to know it on night. 6. Mobile charging points should be on near every birth. 7. Give the 3 to 4 nos stoppage at major station or capitals of Duranto express. 8. Stoppage should be reduced of long travelling trains. 9. Increase the frequency of local trains so everybody from small stations can catch the express trains. 10. Provide confirm ticket to womens who are travelling alone. more
