Earning of railways

I cancelled one wait listed ticket. today.Surprise!! Rs 65/- was deducted as cancellation charge.Officially got looted.Salute to the railways for such innovative way of snatching public money.Carry on!!! more

No money should be deducted while cancelling the wait list and RAC tickets.... Not even so called service charges! more

Yes railway should be challenged under MRTP act, railway is making money illegally. Moreover when we book ticket online they charge additional amount rather than offering discount for such booking. more

I have the same experience from Rilways, Cancelled my ticket more than 4 hours delayed train and railways didn't refund any money for the same rather I got confirmation that I will not recieve any refund. Is it like penalising passengers for their inefficiencies. Train getting delayed by more than 4 hour can definitely not attributed to passengers, then why passengers are being penalised by Railway? Suresh Prabhu not sure why blind to sch idiotic policies. more
