e-Catering services started on 76 trains

Thanks for your inputs to us in the area of improving food quality. We are pleased to share with you that e-Catering services have been started by IRCTC on 76 trains to provide better quality food to passengers.
You can order at http://www.ecatering.irctc.co.in/eCatering/ or call the toll-free number 1800-1034-139 or 0120-4383892-99 to avail the facility.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has started e-catering services for 76 trains across the country, in its bid to provide quality food to passengers.
Apart from a few Jan Shatabdi and Garib Rath trains, the service is available on Bhopal Express, Jammu Mail, Nagercoli Express, Hyderabad Express, East Coast Express, Himalaya Express, Shalimar Express, Gorakhdham Express and Shaane Express, among others. The facility will be extended to more trains in phases, the official said.
The food will be supplied from 80 IRCTC-run food plazas and fast food restaurants near various stations. Passengers who book the food through phone will have to make the payment at the time of delivery, while those making online orders will have to pay online.

When IRCTC is going to expand the list of trains? ER & SER has very less trains in the list. In the same route, if the service can be provided in one train, can't it be extended to other trains? more

I want to know that why there is no reservation facility at BabaDham, Intercity Express, running between, Ranchi- DeoGhar Baidyanath dham, there need to be this facility to avoid unnecessary chaos, and crowd in this train, becoz this is the only train, which RUNS 8-10 hrs to its destination, passengers get tired, there is argument in getting seats verbally with adjustment, i faced this problem several times. there need to be this facility, as available in Coalfield Express, and Black diamond, which Runs Howrah -to Dhanbad, why this thrian is not given importance, AT kumardhubi, station i faced sveral times, many noumber of passengers, have to rush up to the train with luggage, misses the train, their relatives. this can cause accident at station, pleas take necessary actions at the earliest possible. more
