Do good work, face arrest

I read that TVS Chairman Venu Srinivasan has moved the Madras High Court for anticipatory bail in a missing idol case.

Some fellow has filed an FIR in missing idols case against him. Here we have a man who has spent 25 crores of money to restore hundreds of temples and this is what he gets...

Is there a part of story I am missing? more

The brahmins are still treated with the utmost respect by all other communities even now, and there is no jealousy in it. The brahmins are treated as competitors only in the search for employment by other communities, which is very natural. If brahmins had continued as prohits and poojaries without competing for gover jobs, they would have been retained in the high pedestal that they used to occupy in the olden days. When one 'stoops to conquer' he has to invariably compete with all other competitors. With all the government power and social respect, the brahmins are not willing to give up their profession of 'doing poojas' to the deities in the temples to others despite the court intervention and try to retain the monopoly. more
people like TVS srinivasan doesnt have to steal a idol,he is rich enough to srvive, and he is reason for bread and butter of thousands of people,i think some iddiots and ass holes trying to spoil this company profile also, such a big establishment and it is a proud of tamilians, let not hurt the royal family of TVS GROUP.i know lots of family very much happy with this family,in fact he is a man always worship hindu gods too more
Jealousy is one part against Brahmin community created by Dravidian parties, under the leadership of late E.V.Ramaswami Nayakar and Kaignar karunanidhi. Second part:T.V.S.Chairman Shri.Venu Srinivasan might have been been cheated by the officers of Hindu Religious &Charitable Endowments .The officers and staffs were so corrupt, the replacement of pecock statue might not have come to the notice of Sri.Venu Srinivasan at all. Venu Srinivasan கொள்கை, just opposite policies of Dravidian Parties. more
Ms. Bharathi , your observation is right as far as the politicians are concerned , But the regard and respect for such Brahmans hasn't come down . The general public still laud the good work done by the Iyengar group of companies in Tamilnadu . The first Transport by the TVS in Madurai will never never be forgotten by the Madurai public. for its punctuality maintenance.

Though I don't worship in the Navathirupathy , I do take foreign tourists and talk about the sanctity of the visit . It is so easy now . The 22 KM is covered well by good roads whether one prefers to walk or drive . This is more used by non Brahmans visiting . The TVS group has also funded a Toilet program for a 175 year old Christian school in my village close to The Navathirupathy . more
