8. No mechanism to check the parking contracts. Extra parking charges outside railway station
9. The pantry boys asks for the compulsory tips towards end of the journey

dear shri rajendra Why there be corruption openly in railways One example TATKAL Tickets We have to pay for entire root even if journey is to be performed for part distance. Further no seat remains vacant in the train there is always someone waiting for one to be vacated and allotted to him/her. If due to some reason if TATKAL ticket is to be cancelled, we have to loose almost entire amount. What a great logic by a Government it self to loot the public and run railways i profit. If you can make railways feel the difficulty of the public it will be a great help. Anil On Wed, 17 Sep 2014 10:36:32 +0530 Rajendra Pratap Gupta wrote > more
Needed cctv camras in all couch in all train and not allout to tte to comform seat more
I have few suggestions apart from the already listed : 1) Basic services like cleanliness, maintenance and food quality need to be improved. 2) Catering services also need to be improved so that quality foods are get served and its worth for money. 3) It should be made it mandatory to serve food from the pantry instead of pinking up from different stations. 4) Safety of the passengers need to be improved. 5) Entry of hawkers in AC compartments need to be barred. 6) TT and attendants for AC coaches need to be more vigilant 7) Nexus between booking clerk/station master and taut need be abolished so that the true passengers can get the reservation. It is often seen that the reservation is not available in the higher classes where as seat remains empty when train gets start off. 8) Railways staff/officers travels with free passes/PTOs need to be endorsed by the TT of that coach in which that railways employee is performing his journey so as to avoid repeated journey by the same pass. It is been seen that the TT most of the cases never endorsed his signature to confirm the journey by that pass which allow the employee to perform several journey. Another thing TT never checks passengers identity one the passenger utters the word staff, which helps the fake passengers to travel either others pass or without ticket. more
I have few points to submit: 1. TTEs should be kept under strict surveillance. They fleece passengers quoting various rules. A passenger who want to board the train by paying the genuine fare is charged exhorbiantly by adding fines and other charges besides his commission. The passenger should be charged the actual fare and given a seat, if available. 2. The system of premium tatkal should be scrapped off. 3. Defence quota should be increased and it could be directly booked through the railway PRS counters 4. Long route trains should have extra coaches for defence and paramilitary personnel. more
