COMPLAINT AGAINST AXIS TUTORIALS Pvt. Lmt.
sir, my ward taking coaching for JEE/NEET in the AXIS TUTORIALS Pvt. Lmt. karol Bagh, New Delhi from July 2018. I had paid 72000/- fees out of 1,20,000/ for the same. it has been closed After three month i.e last October 2018. After having closed, i demanded from the Director of the coaching centre but he is not returning my fees. I had sent email to Commissioner of Delhi but in vain.
kindly advise me what to do further. more

In case the coaching institute has been closed, the fee need to be refunded back on pro-rata basis. In case the Institute is refusing to refund the fee, the complaint shall be maintainable in the consumer forum wherein you can also seek damages for not providing the services as contracted. You need to issue a notice giving some deadline say a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the notice. The notice could be sent by speed post. more

Don't you known as to what is being done in the cheating cases? Are you so innocent? Why this kind of issues are referred to the Local Circle ? more

I am neither an expert in any field nor ever claimed to be a knowledgeable one. In the instant case, the gentleman didn't seek for any legal advice from any expert in the field. He simply wanted to know the action to be taken against the thug for being cheated. It is difficult to believe that a father of children is not aware as to what is the primary step needs to be taken in the event of being cheated and/or pick-pocketed, for which, he needs advices from a forum or from any expert!
I am a member of the Local Circle almost since its inception and I think I'm aware of its purpose but in the same time, I disagree that any issue of 'petty' nature should be referred to it. In my opinion, seeking for advice on the action to be taken on being cheated, is of petty nature because there are no other options at the preliminary stage and more or less all of us are aware of it. more

why are you enamoured so much with taking a case to Local Circle? The purpose of Local Circle is to bring the case up to a larger forum (1); secondly it is not necessary for everyone to know the effective steps to be taken in cheating; thirdly, the Police is not that much reliable and people have got to put the case in the public place forum like Local Circle; and fourthly, the case is discussed in this forum by a wide number of public to find an appropriate approach. Everybody is not Mr. Ranjit Biswas, with so much of knowledge and command over language that can effectively used against a powerful defaulter. So, be calm and compassionate in advising people through this forum. more
