Compensation for professional services rendered
I recently started a consultancy for transnational education. A UK university asked me to arrange a trip for their students to India. After all arrangements were made and I sent out the welcome kit/handbook with all details for the trip along with guidelines they cancelled the trip citing lack of sufficient student interest as the reason. In this situation, if you normally charge amount from your client and you have communicated as such to the client that you will charge for the query or the services rendered then you can raise claim in the court. however if you have not communicated any such thing then you will not be able to effectively claim compensation for it. Further it is also to be considered where you live as some courts may issue summon and some courts will not understand the claim itslef. then your documents are required to be analysed anyway I have already given the broad point of consideration and appropriate communication is the key to your claim. more

Your relief totally depends on your legal position with the University, which can only be ascertained from the terms and conditions of your agreements relating to engagement, execution and termination.
