Citizen Charter was introduced for Banks

The objectives of Citizen Charter were to facilitate the quality services to the banking public on behalf of PSU Banks.
As soon as the banking services are computerized, the services were made available faster.
Still there are some lacunae in such services while the time elapsed for a particular services are even more than that of the services which were rendering through manual system.
e.g. a customer holds Token slip for a payment or deposit for hours together waiting his turn and sometimes a simple transaction takes too much time.
Apart from KIOSKS, Vending Machines any duel system could be evolved for betterment of Banking Services ????
Please advise for improvement ,,,, more

Friends, It is shame to state that the very Anti Corruption Dept. - to the level of DCP is NOT lodged / Registered the written complaint, even after having valid vital Documented proof and known culprits, for Month's together, till date. We had fed-up to visit repeatedly to follow-up. Is there any other GOOD EXAMPLE &/or any other alternative Mechanism available????? more
There is NO Accountabilities to the effect in PSU BANKS. That is the reason why Rs. 4000 Lacs Crorers are the Bad / Unsecured Debt accumulate. No body bothers where this money gone and still going. But as rightly Observed - the Big Business Organisations - which are closely controled by the family members are the End benificiary. Common man is suffering every day, farmers are compailed to suicide But this community in hand in gloves with some of the Bank barons lavishly enjoying their life style. Just to Quote the Example - A PSU Bank having fraud of several Crorers of Rupees, CBI investigated - without any seizure Or Secure a single rupee and there is NO Recovery also. Where this money gone?????? Culprit openly express his ready and willingness to go to Jail for couple of years. Hence to be concluded to Make the accountability - mainly of PSU Bankers at every stage, so also to others. more
Mr Ravi Sir privatisation is not the answer. Accountability should be fixed on top executives of the erring banks when frauds and corruption take place. Recently CBI has taken over a case involving the SBI which had lent Rs.60 crores to a jewellery shop against the security of Rs.16 crores. Such huge loans cannot happen without the connivance of top executives. When the shop owner duped the Bank, CBI has taken over the case and definitely it will take 25 years for the CBI to finalise it. By that time all involved would have retired happily. The FM encourages corruption and corrupt officials receive instant promotion in India under the BJP. more
Mr Shashi : Corruption in public life has grown to this extent because of the widespread corruption in the judiciary. A FIR was filed by the DSP of AgraAnti corruption Cell in a sterilization racket in 1989. It has taken 26 years of investigation and trial with 185 hearings and ultimately a nurse has been sentenced to one year imprisonment and a fine of Rs.100. This is the way the investigating agency and the judiciary treating corruption cases because the judiciary is part and parcel of the corrupt system. We should fight against the culprits and not against ourselves. more
THE ONLY SOLUTION TO FIGHT CORRUPTION IS TO FIGHT AGAINST OURSELVES WE INDIAN PEOPLE SHOW RELIGIOUS AND SHOW HAVE FAITH IN GOD BUT IN FACT THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD AND NO FAITH IN RELIGION ONLY DRAMA IS GOING ON IF ONE FEAR OF GOD THEY CAN NOT DO CORRUPTION IF ONE BELIEVE IN DHARMA HE WILL FIGHT AGAINST HIS OWN SOUL AGAINST CORRUPTION UNLESS MYSELF DO NOT CHANGE THE CORRUPTION WILL NEVER END WE ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH OUR LIFESTYLE SO WANT MORE MONEY OUR BETTER HALF COMPARES WITH NEIGHBORS SO ONE COMPELS FOR CORRUPTION AND SO ON GOVT MAKES LAW AND LAW HAVE LOOPE HOLES SHOWN BY LAW IMPOSER AND THUS GOING ON THE LAW BE SIMPLE AND IMPLEMENTATION BE MADEON LINE SO CHANCE OF CORRUPTION IS LESS more
