indian railways outside look is so pathetic. We dont feel the positive vibe while travelling. The toilets are too badly maintained. The wash basins outside and inside look as if cleaned years back. more

New coaches should be painted in glossy finish and all our old coaches are mostly ageing and painted again and again so it will look like dirty more

Sagar J : thats no way to put an aprtheid in place. We all are indians and these problem exist in railways every where across India. What needs to be done is a viligance on people travelling and cleanliness and hygine check after every 2nd major station, so that passengers can travel with ease. Taliking about USA, i believe you have not travelled there, the train fare charges for USA and India are more like comparing peanuts. Indian railway charges a very nominal amount for the travel. If increase in fare can help in maintenance of trains conditions, i believe majority of people will not opt for train. more

After entering the borders from AP to orrissa, Rajastan and bihar. we saw pathetic situation in the train journey. Chewing of guka, tobacco and vomit in the trains. Have u ever seen in in USA? more
