Allotment of parking space by the builder
Builder had initially agreed to incorporate the parking to be purchased in the agreement. But since the registrar refused, he has now stated that he will give it in his letter head that one parking has been allotted. Is such allotment legal and will the flat owner claim the right on such parking more

Very well pointed out Mr. Narayanan. Parking space ie ground floor of building does not comes within the purview of common space. more

I think, the query was about enforceable ownership right for parking space for which the Builder has received the consideration, and not just the right to use. Can parking space approved by the Civic Body in the plan and demarcated as such for a particular allottee be considered as common area? more

I have a house in Sector 47 Gurgaon...since 2008 I am occupying the same. There is no mention of parking space in the Registered Sale Deed. However the RWA allots parking space to each member with proper marking of flat Nos. and collects some charges which are included in the monthly maintenance charges. The provide stickers also. However a sum of Rs.6000/- for 6 months in advance is collected from the tenants for parking charges. more
