Such awakening among the people is most essential.. Congratulations. more
thank you sir, i wish every body start questioning MLA as he is no longer a people representative and he is only a temporary government servant with a huge salary of 2.5 lakh. per month inclusive all perks in Telangana with a heavy pension life long. If you start questioning then they work more
Dear Sri Deekshitulu garu..... Your act of questioning and prevailing upon the MLA to get road laid in your area is quite appreciable. more
sri Visweswara rao garu. Here also i do not find fault with MLA. I find a fault with us only. Because we have become so mute and lazy to question the MLA. But i do question the MLA . I will go to his house along with some members of my colony and question him. An year back I went to My local MLA Sri Krishna Reddy garu and requested him for a main road. He did not bother to remember. ON 1st May he came to our colony to give a speech on M- day. I am allowed to talk on open platform and i questioned every thing how he is helping his area only. Later in one month he saw the road is laid. I have three or four experiences like this ministers also, because i represent people on ground but not in legislative assembly. I wish at least some senior citizens who have more time and space make use of the time to educate the mass and pull the legs of the so called public representatives who are otherwise called government servants who draw salary and pension from government( Public funds) more
Dear Sri Deekshitulu garu..... You are true that when once we voted it is deemed that the elected are given authority to make legislations. But so far as Judiciary is concerned they are vested with some responsibilities and powers to set right things which are going beyond control as they and we are all members of the same society. In this connection let me refer an example wherein an elected representative (MLA) behaved irresponsibly and acted on his own whims and fancies. Ultimately he was involved in a criminal case in which he along with many of his followers were suitable convicted, after, almost more than 15 years from the time of crime. They took all available and possible steps to get the matter dragged on in the courts for years together to the utter dismay of certain sincere Judicial Officers in respect of the delayed Justice. Simply because they are elected representatives from out of our votes, they shall not be allowed to have a feeling that they are above Law. I sincerely hope in an optimistic way that the citizens can also bring about a change if sustained efforts are made. In olden days great people with relentless efforts brought several reforms and constructive changes in the society for the positive growth and betterment of the society. As you rightly observed that we have to wait for another 5 years to make another set of the same kind to be seated in the highest seat, it is becoming inevitable. There is no other choice in the present day so called democratic state of Governments. All the politicians are there only to meet their political ends and any given situation they always try to take advantage to get their political mileage. Whether we like it or not they are becoming proficient enough in their political field without caring for any values. Thus in our present system of democracy franchising of vote is made a routine tool for the benefit of Politicians particularly to the elected representatives for variety of reasons and as such we have been hearing number of comments on it. My view point is at least some intellectuals like you, if come forward with valuable suggestions basing on your multidimensional experiences, some changes to the existing wrongs can be hopefully brought about. Thank you very much for your response. more
