Aadhar mandatory for PF withdrawal - unfair?
I could be wrong but I believe PF amount (employee 12% & 3.66% employer contribution) is not a subsidy provided by govt. So then why should Aadhar be made mandatory for withdrawing ones own hard earned and legal savings?
Or am I missing something here? Pls help me understand if anyone can.

Even Pension also has been drawn by many with Created/Concealed records. Many such are now curbed with introduction of Aadhaar Card wherever it was issued. Even Bank through and Postal Transactions are in such misuse and misappropriation. Even last year, many Cheques issues by Telangana State had been misused in Banks and huge amounts are misappropriated. ALL ARE DUE TO NON AND FAST PUNISHMENTS. more

Even an individual last year, created scenes as if dead and his Family drawn Insurance AND WAS FOUND later. Individual Security for Funds and Finances under Aadhaar Card was also upheld by S.C. glorifying as the real helpfull remedy .

In the time of rising internet hacking and frauds, it is necessary that we have some mandatory ID proof of the PF or any other account holder. Aadhaar may be one such id. more

Aadhar is not mandatory, all other proof should be accepted. If PF is refusing to accept any other proof than Aadhar should be highlighted. more

Aadhar Card is for procedural compliance and NOT mandatory to the effect. Pl. ref. the Supreme Court recent Judgement to the effect. But for all practical purposes and to avoid any further hassle you can give the Blank Cheque duly cancelled - if at all the Authority is having any reservations. more

Here's another bit of news that just came in - Non Aadhar, Non PAN users to pay extra TDS while claiming PF money.....anyway, it was good to hear from you all though i have a request to all - stop making everything about safety and security of the country. Some things should be simply discussed as fellow countrymen/citizens leaving aside our personal opinions. I hereby close the post for myself. You may all continue :) more
