A large number of fake mobile phone numbers and even fake Adhar cards are in use.Lot of crimes and criminal activities are being done through such fake instruments. As a progressive country, we need to be accountable and responsible citizens. There fore all good initiatives must be encouraged and promoted. more

Atulji you are right 100%. In our own country billions of citizens are stil starving and thousands of small children are dying because of mal nutirition problems. But still some people and parties with vote bank politics and vested interest want to take Rohingyas into our country and put our country, which is currently fighting so many troubles in different aspects of our citizen's lives in differents states across the country, into further deeper trouble. Misuse of Aadhar is one of the major threats that Rohingyas pose if given entry into India. more

Fake Aadhar means, Aadhar issued in a different name using bio-metric data of someone else. You might have heard news about fake Aadhar Cards issued to Rohingya migrants. more

If Aadhar is fake, there will be no bio-metric record with UIADI. When holder of fake Aadhar will try to do bio metric verification of his SIM, he will be caught. more

While educated people who know about phissing and e-frauds would take adequate safeguard measures, what about the middle class and poor who are now being forced to come into mainline e-tradings? Also most of the people (especially ladies) have a habit of storing PIN numbers and passwords in their mobile which is at high risk from hackers. Linking Aadhar would be like throwing the door open for you to be exposed to all perils and dangers. Government is not giving a clear reason why it adamantly wants this to happen. Who would benefit from it? more

If you get a phishing call from another mobile, that SIM can easily be tracked due to Aadhar biometric linkage. In fact, fraudster will now avoid using mobile phones once they are mapped to respective Aadhar thru biometric. Earlier they could manage SIM cards thru fake PAN or Aadhar copies.
Further, even if your phone is lost, it will not be having any Aadhar data on your SIM so I don't understand what risk you have in mind. more
