2.all train coatch attached toilet with tanks when train run tank is closed and when train stand the platform then tanks open and shift the all mud by pipe ,then our plat form clean .

how about punishing passengers who spoil the compartments by throwing garbage? good revenue for Railways more

I think Railways should outsource the cleaning of Railway compartments and they should ensure their strict compliance.It will definitely improve the cleanness of compartments. more

I feel the most pressing issue we need to address to improve our rail services is to ensure clean toilets. This should take priority over all the modernity we are talking about like wify or CCTV or whatever. Currently many of the water taps in the trains don't function and water supply fails frequently. Add to that the inherent lack of civic sense among our people, toilets in our trains are a national disgrace. It is imperative that every train has a travelling janitorial team; say at least one janitor per 3 coaches or so. The team should be equipped adequately with necessary gadgets and inspect / clean and disinfect the toilets at regular intervals. Passengers should be educated and if needed penalised to prevent them neglecting to follow hygienic habits . more
