Court Working hours must be increased. However this should not be at a cost of Strain on justice which in turn should not affect judgement.
More court buildings should be constructed in city like Mumbai.
It is noticed that many criminals, as soon a FIR is registered & complain is filled before Magistrate, they rush immediately to HC & get immediate stay. Thus causing delay in justice & occupying HC time. more

The number of judges should be increased and the courts should function without holidays and round the clock so that the justice can be delivered at any time - the height of democracy more
Why do courts need summer vacation? This practice was started by Britishers. Can we not do away with this vacation? more
The judicial infrastructure shall be increased to accommodate more judges. There shall be fast track courts for political criminals. The timely punishment and unqualification from contesting election will help de-glorifying political criminalization. Time bound justice system is the need of hour. more
I completely agree. Justice system is like a hundred years old. Needs to be updated.. Here are my suggestions: 1- If essential services have officers for 24 hrs, why no so for courts! Maybe not 24 hrs (Although as per current pending cases, probably even 24 hrs would be less), they can atleast double the court time. If court can work at mid-night for terrorists, why not for other people? 2-Recruit more number of judges (twice or more) so that responsibility of current ones dont take a hit. 3- Cases related to politicians should be on fast-track and should be resolved before the next elections or within 1 yr with an extension of 1 more year. (I wonder why Lalu prasad is allowed to campaign for elections! If he has been punished and cant compete in elections, he shouldnt be allowed to even campaign) 4-Each lawyer/judge can get only 1-2max. chances to postpone the hearing, that too for some major reason.Hence no more than 6 postponements should be allowed. 5-To prevent corruption in judiciary system, there should be a panel of 3 members aside from judge, who are expert on case related topic. Those members should be kept anonymous from the lawyers/people of that case. If judge and experts have same decision, it would be fine but if different opinion, refer another judge/panel of 3 to decide the outcome. 6-use better technologies and reduce paper consumption.( thousands of pages for each case!). thats an important reason for delay in judgement. For more pages, use digital versions with digital signature as an official document. (I dunno its done at present or not, bt readin in media about thousand pages judgement and such 7- If nething happens to more than a fixed percent of witness (say more than 25%), it should be considered as trying to manipulate the case and should be dealt accordingly. Unless judiciary system is transparent, justice wont be served. more
I agree with Anjan Mandal,1. for increasing working hours. 2. Also, courts should also stop giving Stays & Bails every now and then, which is intended to delay the case, meanwhile the criminals, manages to distroy proofs, and use bribes etc. to make the witnesses to change their statements. It is noticed that many criminals, as soon a FIR is registered & complain is filled before Magistrate, they rush immediately to HC & get immediate stay more
