Dear Friends, I am quoting below a message written to Commissioner of Police, Delhi by email.
"I am in receipt of a call from 011-66151900 pretending to be a person Mr. Rohan Mehta form PIC verification department asking me the details of insurance policies and other personnel details on the ground that there are some dividends cheques to be paid being un-returned. He refused to provide his address.
As a consumer activists I am sure the call is a fraudulent call and action need to be taken immediately to avoid further people getting duped off. The call was received at 12.29 PM on 03/12/2015 at my mobile no. 09958111131. I am sure an appropriate action is taken immediately to trace such people."
While I am hoping some action by police, meanwhile please be careful if you also receive such calls and report the same to Police immediately. more

Ihave also received such type of phone. One day someone told me that he is calling fronm bank verification deptt. pl. tell me your last four digit no and cvv no. when I said that what is yor address, ten the call cutt. so we all together give message to our nearer and dearer not to tel something about finance matter, family matter , etc to other specially over phone to our family members. I must say to every men and women , speciaaly house women not to tell something over phone to unknown person that may be men or women more

Some times the caller or the Message Sender do not give his details . The Cell phone providers are not at all caring to give the details of the callers and message senders because of the Law of Secrecy . There are so many ills and even some Indian Families are getting into Family disputes and even to forced ultimate divorce .Please also think on this angle too for the law to be in public Safety . more

i have also done mistake that such a call i have not highlighted in the media, in future it will highlighted, and see that such a group of people is punished and bring before the media, can you believe in the name of RBI letters are coming..that will also i will highlight in future,they should be punished then only there will be .. more

All the authorised call centres are required to send any message with TRAI registered code only. more
